What does a finished round look like?

et status <site> and et results <site> both read GET /api/runs/domain/:domainId/tests. The body is an array of runs. Each run has a tests array.

et status prints JSON with a live array. A test is copied into live when its status is running, paused, or completed. An error test stays out of live. A stopped test stays out of live.

A completed test is copied into live and includes the winner name. The "winner" field is the variant name for meta.winnerVariantId. When that id is missing, or no variant has that id, "winner" is null. A running or paused test has no "winner" field. round is seqWithinRun, page is the run URL, and run is the run humanId.

{"id":"done-2","name":"Price","status":"completed","decision":"winner","winner":"Clear price","round":1,"page":"https://example.com/pricing","run":"example-2","variants":[{"id":"w2","name":"Clear price","control":false,"impressions":8,"conversions":3}]}

That object is one item in live. "winner" is the name, not the variant id.

et status adds decision only when the result is exactly winner, inconclusive, or continue. A continue row has status running, decision continue, and no winner field. A running test with no result omits decision.

A continue decision keeps the test in live with status running. live has no winner field for that test. This is not a finished round. No winner was called. This is that continue row.

{"id":"live-1","name":"Headline","status":"running","decision":"continue","round":1,"page":"https://example.com/","run":"example-1","variants":[{"id":"v1","name":"Plain headline","control":false,"impressions":4,"conversions":1}]}

A site whose only test is completed is not an empty list. live has that one test, so the array is not [].

et results <site> prints a history array. A completed test is listed in history with the winner name. Each history item has testId, name, status, outcome, winner, and lift. "winner" follows the same rule as on live. "outcome" is meta.evalOutcome, or null when it is missing. "lift" is null when the control and winner counts cannot produce it. See What does a failed round look like?.

<site> is the host (example.com) or the site id from et sites.
